St.Paul Church Balkunje Men's day celebration

16 June 2024 Sunday , celebrated as Men's day in our parish . This program was organised by Lay Apostolic Commission,  Family Commission,  Women's Commission and Youth Commission.  It  started with the Eucharistic celebration.  The liturgy and choir was led by men. 

The  program started at 10.00 am in the Church hall with a Prayer song. Mrs. Helen Dsouza welcomed the gathering.Rev.Fr.Paul Sequeira,  Parish Priest presided over the program. Parish Pastoral Vice President/Family Commission conveyor Dr. Freeda Rodrigues,  Secretary Mrs. Nancy Cardoza, Commission Coordinator Mrs.Lavina Serrao , Convent superior Sr.Pramila B.S., Resource person Mr. Bernard Cardoza,Lay Apostolic Commission conveyor Mr. Patrick Pinto, Women's Commission Coordinator Mrs Helen Dsouza,  Youth Commission Coordinator Miss Clarissa Cardoza were present on the dias. Dr. Priyanka Martis delivered a speech on day's importance.  Fr.Paul Sequeira congratulated the men for their sacrifice for the family and wished them all good . Resource person Mr.Bernard Cardoza spoke on Men's role in family. Opportunity was given to men to share their experience of family life. Games were conducted for men and the winners were felicitated . Men's had participated in the cultural program which included a skit, dance and a song. Mr.Denis Dsouza and Mr. William Dsouza were felicitated for their service to the society. Mr. Leo Menezes, Mr. Walter Dmello and Mr. Denis Dsouza shared their thoughts.Mrs. Anita Dsouza rendered vote of thanks. Mrs. Sunita Dsouza compered the program. 

Breakfast and lunch was served to all. 50 men participated in the program.
